Creation Isn’t an Accident

Genesis begins with a simple, powerful truth: God created everything on purpose. The universe didn’t pop out of nowhere. Nothing doesn’t create light, laws, order, or life. Every part of creation—from galaxies to DNA—shows planning, precision, and purpose.

The Universe Is Fine‑Tuned

Scientists discovered that the universe works like a recipe with dozens of settings that must be exactly right for life to exist.

If gravity were slightly stronger or weaker, stars couldn’t form.
If Earth were a little closer or farther from the sun, we’d burn or freeze.
If water didn’t behave uniquely, life couldn’t survive.

This isn’t luck. It’s design. Believing this all “just happened” is like believing a perfect cake baked itself with no baker.

Creation Days Show Order, Not Chaos

Each day of Genesis shows intentional steps:

Light before life—energy and order.
Sky and atmosphere—a perfect life-support system.
Land and plants—food, oxygen, and ecosystems.
Sun, moon, stars—timing, warmth, seasons.
Birds and sea creatures—balanced environments.
Humans—moral, creative, relational beings made in God’s image.

Nothingness doesn’t create systems that work together this perfectly.

DNA: The Signature of a Designer

DNA is a microscopic instruction book inside every cell. It’s written in a four-letter code that tells your body how to grow, function, and live.

Codes don’t write themselves. Books don’t appear without authors. Programs don’t run without programmers.

Even more amazing: all living things use the same DNA alphabet, but each species has its own unique sequence. Humans share:

99.9% with other humans
98% with pigs
90% with cats
60% with trees
60% with bananas

This doesn’t mean we “came from” bananas. It means God used the same brilliant building blocks to create a connected world.

Humans Are Different

Being made in God’s image means we can:

Think deeply
Create
Love
Choose right from wrong
Communicate
Know God

No animal has these spiritual and moral capacities. They didn’t evolve from nothing. They reflect a Creator.

Why “We Came From Nothing” Falls Apart

To believe the universe made itself, you must believe:

Nothing created something
Chaos created order
Mindless matter wrote DNA
Randomness produced intelligence
Accidents produced purpose

That’s not science. That’s wishful thinking.

Intelligent design simply says: Where there is design, there is a Designer. And Genesis tells us exactly who that Designer is.
